The third and final week of the 2019 distribution season saw lots of smiles as 1514 children were served in downtown Charleston (Second Presbyterian), Summerville (Summerville), McClellanville (New Wappetaw), and West Ashley (Westminster). This year we served 4268 children during 22 distributions at 16 sites in six counties showing Christ's love.  Guestimating an average 60 minimum of volunteers per site, times 4 hours per distribution, times 22 days of distribution comes up to 5280 volunteer hours --- and that does not include what the Operations team does during the three weeks prior to and during the distribution (probably another 2500 volunteer hours) nor preparation and clean up by our host congregations.  Wow!   Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!!
Meet Zy'ion ..... A Special Young Man

Below are pictures of Zy'ion.  All of the children we serve are special, but Zy'ion is extra special.  Why?  At Second Presbyterian on Tuesday August 13 he became the 60,000th child that we have served since 2003!  Thanks be to God.
